ABoarding facility for boys is available inside the campus of the Standard Robarth Higher Secondary School, Canchipur, Imphal , Manipur. There is a separate Boarding for Girls only half Km. away from the school main campus.



Residence Life

Home is where heart is

Boarding House is supervised by an experienced Boarding Administrator. Many other resident faculty members are involved in the school’s full programme of co-curricular activities, which includes organising debate, dance , recitation, extempore etc... In addition all the boarding students are well taken care by their Tutors who are responsible for their personal welfare and academic progress and also counsels students on real life issues besides their academic concerns. Facilities for indoor games such as Table Tennis, Chess and Carom are provided for their recreational purpose.

Security

Round the clock, trained security personnel maintain constant eye on the movement of men and material in and out of all buildings and at imperative areas like dormitories and academic blocks schedule services.


Health is Wealth

The School has the facility of In house infirmary where a male nurse in the boys hostel and a female nurse in the girls hostel resides.

A doctor also resides in the residential campus that takes care of every child’s health.

Food

A well-balanced, wholesome and nutritious food, both vegetarian and non-vegetarian with recommendation from a physician is provided. All the resident staff including the principal dines the same food.

A dedicated and trained team of cooks and supporting staff makes sure that cleanliness, variety and timeliness get prime importance.

• Parents and Guardians shall not visit their ward(s) frequently. However parents are permitted to visit their ward(s) on the First Sunday of the month between 11.00 a.m . – 4.00 p.m.
• Only parents and authorized visitors are permitted to visit their children on first Sunday, when visiting the boarding, they must show their authorized card.
• Without the authorized card no parents/guardians are allowed to give anything (eatable items) especially to their ward(s) except First Sunday of every month.
• 4 (four) stamp size and 4 (four) passport size photographs are required for boarders in school uniform at the time of reporting to Wardens.
• Two passport size photographs are required if the person wants to be recognized by the school as an authorized person for the particular student .Former authorized card holders should renew their authorized card at the beginning of the academic session.
• Transfer certificate will not be issued unless all outstanding dues are paid.
• Telephone calls can be made every Sunday between 7.00 a.m. to 6.00 p.m. except first Sunday.
• Local guardian situated 2 – 3 kms away from the school premises is compulsory for all the boarders.

• Students are not permitted to leave the campus except when they go home for festival and holidays like Yaoshang, Ningol Chakouba, Summer and Winter vacations only.
• Boarders will not be permitted to go home for various ceremony, religious rites etc. except in case of extreme emergency. Grant of leave will be at the discretion of the Principal / Boarding Administrator and leave will be limited to a maximum of three days at a time.
• Whenever the boarder leaves the boarding he/she should be escorted by his/her own parents or authorized person.
• The school authority/ warden shall not be held responsible for any unwanted accident cause due to disobedience of the boarding rules.
• If boarders are found to be weak in a particular subject, intensive coaching will be arranged on payment till they come up to the required standard. This will be arranged at the discretion of the Principal / Boarding Administrator.
• Any boarder who violates the rules and regulations of the boarding such as running from the school campus without prior approval from the wardens/related authority will be charged a fine of Rs. 5000/- (five Thousand) or the student may be immediately terminated from the boarding and school.
• Boarders found using intoxicants will be liable to stern disciplinary action and the committee members’ decision will be final.
• Transfer/Change as day scholar in any circumstance during the academic session of the year must clear the whole year’s mess fee and other related dues. After clearance, all the dues, related documents and belongings will be handed over otherwise the school will not accept any request or complaint.
• All boarders must deposit at least Rs. 500 -1000 /- to the school counter for day- to- day use.
• Students are expected to take care of their belongings.
• Students are not allowed to bring or keep costly watch, fountain pen, camera, transistors etc.
• All belonging of the students should be clearly marked; such marking will help to avoid losses.
• Strict discipline shall be maintained in the school at all time. Parents are requested to co-operate with the school.
